Is broadband/ADSL compatible with alarm systems?

Broadband and our alarm systems are absolutely compatible if the connection is made properly.

In order for an alarm system to work properly together with broadband/ADSL, it should have serial telephone jacks and the broadband modem should be connected to the main jack. If the alarm system is connected before the modem, the broadband signal will interfere with the signal sent to the police.

If you have purchased broadband/ADSL after installing your alarm, you must notify Select Alarm Ltd. so that they can check your alarm system to make sure that it works properly.

If your alarm system is not compatible with broadband, a Select Alarm Ltd. technician should visit your home to re-connect your telephone jack.
