Team Lead - Back End - Sales & Service Apps

Location: Fuengirola, Malaga, Spain

In Sector Alarm, we are constantly developing our products and services. Our state-of-the-art solutions and the right people have resulted in solid financial and organic growth over the last years. We need secure, seamless, efficient, and progressive internal IT processes and systems for our company to continue growing. As we grow, we are also investing in our engineering team, now we are hiring a Team Lead to own two user journeys part of the sales and services experience. 

Role overview: 

You’ll lead two pods made up of 6 engineers in total, reporting to the Head of Sales & Services: 

  • Internal Ops: the tooling and systems that keep our operations running cleanly across all 8 markets. 
  • Engagement & Retention: the platform and services that keep customers connected, engaged, and retained. 

This is a hands-on leadership role, roughly 70-80% people and delivery, 20-30% writing code, reviewing and leading design conversations. You will work on a modern cloud-based environment based on C# .Net, React, MS-SQL / Cosmos and Azure. This is a hybrid full-time position, located in either Norway (Oslo) or Spain (Fuengirola, Madrid). 

Responsibilities: 

 Team Lead: 

  • Direction and clarity for both pods, including definition of OKRs aligned with our Tech organization. 
  • Lead and own two pods (6 engineers in total) across Internal Ops and Engagement & Retention 
  • Drive the establishment of working agreements for both pods, how they plan, review, ship, and support 
  • Run regular 1:1s with all team members focused on growth, blockers, and wellbeing 
  • Coach junior and mid-level engineers 
  • Participate in recruitment and interviews to help shape the team as it grows 

Technical: 

  • End to end ownership of the user journeys your pods manage, from discovery and design to deployments in production. 
  • Translate product and stakeholder requirements into clear technical work and team schedules 
  • Identify the risks 
  • Writing clean, scalable code using C# .NET Core 
  • Coordinate with architects, other team leads, and cross-functional peers 
  • Stay current with industry developments and bring relevant ideas back to the team 
  • Experience coding with AI agents like Claude Code or Copilot is a plus. 

 Technology Stack: 

  • C#, .NET Core. 
  • React, frontend for internal tools and customer-facing UIs 
  • REST APIs and microservices on Azure Kubernetes  
  • Azure cloud infrastructure (WebAPI, containers, web apps) 
  • SQL and NoSQL databases, Entity Framework 
  • Azure DevOps, Terraform is a plus 
  • Working with hardware components and IoT devices 

 Qualification: 

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is necessary. 
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong backend track record in C# / .NET Core 
  • 2+ years as a team lead, tech lead, or staff engineer, with proven ability to run 1:1s, give feedback, and grow people. 
  • Experience with microservices, REST API, event based architecture, SQL, noSQL and EntityFramework 
  • Automation and integration testing, UI testing 
  • Azure experience with WebAPI, containers, and web applications 
  • IoT experience is a plus 
  • Proven ability to run 1:1s, give feedback, and grow people 
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Valid EU/EEA work permit
